Pullup bars



A Pullup bar is used to lift the weight of the body using the upper body muscles. The Pullup bar usually fits into entrances of standard width. It has a cantilever hold with no screws or setup. It is majorly used to build back and arm muscles without using any accessories.

Use

It can be used in various positions – narrow grip, shoulder grip, neutral grip, medium grip, and wide grip and behind the neck wide grip. A wide grip enables to concentrate on the upper back and lats. The narrow grip is used for the biceps. Certain Pullup Bars offer three grip positions to execute pull-ups. These positions are used to strengthen biceps, back, and lat work. The Universal Pullup Bar has a foam-covered pivot. It can handle much more weight than the weight of a human body. The foam padding ensures comfort for the palm and a sturdy grip. There is also a Portable Pullup Bar, which is available in small pieces. These can be easily carried to any place and joined. It can serve as a hanger for clothing when it is not being used. For any Pullup Bar initially, it is possible to lift the body for a small time interval and a small height. But by regular practice, it is observed that that the lift height is increased. Also, as the muscular strength increases the number of repetitions also increase. But, obese people should not start exercise using the Pullup bar. That would cause undue pressure on their muscles.

It facilitates an effective method in toning up the body. The user can provide sufficient exercise to his muscles. Also, it can be used not only in gyms but also at home. It does not cost much. The fear of weights falling on the body or elastic bands getting broken during exercise is not present. Those who do not have the time to travel to the gym can perform exercise at their home. A portable Pullup bar may be carried along with us to any place and skipping of exercise can be avoided. They muscles are subjected to considerable weight without the need to carry actual weights.
